He is always stunning in appearance. As a four year old he was a participant of the Bundeschampionate (overall score:8,33, walk: 9,0) and the top priced horse on the westfalian elite auction. Licosto was furthermore young horse champion in Lingen and finished an amazion thirty-day-test with an dressage score of 8,84 and an jumping score of 8,11. His overall score was 8,61 secureing him the second place out of 32 stallions in Münster-Handorf. The year 2010 was a sensation for Licosto. He won his very first dressage test and furthermore two qualifications to the Bundeschampionat. Most importantly he was one out of six horses selected for World Breeding Dressage Championship. In the final he came in on a great seventh rank with an overall score of 8,44. On the Bundeschampionate he went straight to the final with a great fourth rank.

The sire Licotus himself won Prix-St.Georges and Intermediaire I classes several times. With these successes he laid the ground work to be announced VTV dressage stallion of the year in 2010, on the occasion of the Oldenburger stallion licensing. His dam Romanze has another licensed son Florentianer by Florestan I. She is out of the same line as Riga ,as their mothers were the fullsisters Alexa and Anastasia (By Apart).Riga had four years in a row licensed sons: Farewell I (Hann.),Farewell II (Rhld.),Farewell III (Bundeschampion, Olbg, Grand Prix winner) and Farewell IV (USA)., Further back in the Pedigree are the Warendorfer state stud stallion Rosenkavalier, Apart and Feuerschein I. Out of this in westfalia by Alfons Baumann(Rees) cherished hannoverian line 223/ Deckspitze (by Dekan-Neheim etc.) resulted in the last years several licensed stallions, including Dankeschön, Rosenquarz (both at the stat stud Warendorf) and Maybach (USA), furthermore the advanced class winning mare Wenezia (by Worldchamp). Licosto first bred shortly in the Rheinland, out of which resulted several awarded foals.On the occasion of the 21.Foal auction in Münster-Handorf one of his foals (dam by Rockwell) reached the top price of 33,000 Euro.
